Can Filling Line

This production line is mainly used for tin, aluminum and plastic cans with the ability of an automated depalletizer, washer, over turner (to rid the can of excess water), filling and sealing. With a high production capacity, this is the ideal machine used for carbonated drinks such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, beer etc.

Typical Complete Can Filling Line Components

A turnkey line integrates these stations via conveyors:

1. Can Depalletizer — Unloads empty cans from pallets (high-speed lines handle 400+ CPM).

2. Can Rinser / Washer — Cleans cans with water, air, or sterilizing solution.

3. Filler — Fills precise volumes (usually rotary isobaric/counter-pressure for carbonated products).

4. Seamer / Closer — Applies and double-seams lids (ends) hermetically.

5. Pasteurizer / Tunnel Pasteurizer — Heats cans (for beer/juice) to kill microbes and stabilize carbonation.

6. Date Coding / Inkjet Printer — Prints batch/expiry info.

7. Labeling / Sleeving / Printing — Wrap-around labels (often BOPP from your earlier questions), shrink sleeves, or direct can printing.

8. Inspection (fill level, seam integrity, leak detection).

9. Shrink Wrapping / Cartoning / Palletizing — Final packaging

How It Works (Process Flow)

Empty cans → Depalletize → Rinse → Fill (under pressure for carbonated) → Seam lids → Pasteurize (if needed) → Cool → Label/Code → Inspect → Pack → Palletize.

For carbonated drinks, isobaric (counter-pressure) filling maintains CO₂ levels and minimizes foaming. Non-carbonated use gravity or volumetric filling
